Check three things: permission to park overnight, the rule for your block, and whether a snow emergency changes it.
Get the overnight basics right
Street parking generally requires a night permit or temporary permission from 2–6 a.m., Monday through Saturday. A permit does not override a sign or make every space available.

On most residential streets, park on the side with odd house numbers for an odd-numbered evening date, and even house numbers for an even-numbered evening date. If you arrive after midnight, use the previous date for that overnight period.

Night permits are not required on Sunday mornings or the mornings of and after the holidays listed by the city. Street restrictions and snow-emergency rules still matter. Check the city list before relying on a holiday exemption.
