For an occasional overnight stay, start with the city’s free temporary night parking permission.

A few nights on the street

Temporary permission is free, with a limit of three nights in a 30-day period. It covers situations such as out-of-town guests. Request it through the city, and check that the confirmation matches your vehicle and night.

Staying longer?

Regular city night permits are available to City of Milwaukee residents. Visitors who need more than the temporary allowance should ask their host or accommodation about off-street parking, or contact Parking Services about their situation.
